KSBRs Co-Creative Workshops

Turning insight into ideas

Short, impactful video edits (often from Unmediated Listening) help clients to empathise with their customers, see the world through their eyes and create bold solutions they’re actually excited to see taken into testing.

1. Thinking like a customer

  • Stakeholders are each paired with their own unique respondent
  • A short, impactful video edit breaks down the respondent’s key attitudes
  • A KSBR template gets them to think into the respondent’s perspective, imagining their day-to-day lives, needs and ambitions
  • Stakeholders with similar respondents are grouped together (based on needs, customer type, demographics, etc.) and tasked with developing an idea / communication / positioning which would appeal to their audience

2. Developing solutions

  • Stakeholders reconvene for present-backs, and a KSBR led wash-up to:
    • Agree key (met and unmet) needs
    • Build on the ideas presented, discuss where they overlap and where they’re distinct
    • Plot ideas on a feasibility / impact matrix

We’v used KSBR concept workshops to….

  • Creating a new brand story for Farrow and Ball paint

  • Creating a disruptive positioning for a cross-channel train service from Virgin

  • Developing new ticket types for South Western Railway

  • Developing a compelling narrative for the Green New Deal
